Mike Webb Wins 2nd Place Angler at the Heartland Pro-Am Championship

The Heartland Pro-Am Championship  held at Table Rock Lake, Branson Missouri September 29-30, 2007.
Mike Webb Wins 2nd Place Angler at the Heartland Pro-Am Championship

Marking his best finish ever on the Heartland Trail was the 2nd Place angler and Table Rock guide, Mike Webb. 

Mike also fished the lower end of Table Rock, targeting pea gravel points with rock piles with a drop-shot rig.


Mike had a spot on Day 2 that he had to fish and it paid off by astoundingly producing 10 legal sized fish.  The spot was exposed to the 20+ mph wind and forced Mike to fish from his knees while waves crashed into his 2007 Nitro.  His “extreme” fishing and mental toughness pushed him up the standings to pocket $1000 cash and a new Artic Cat ATV valued at $4000.
