Bassmaster Table Rock Tournament

TableRock, MO- The NITRO® Fishing Team continued its dominance on the Bassmaster Tour, with strong finishes at the last Top 150 event on Table Rock Lake.
Finishing4th after leading day two was Kevin VanDam. "Overall the tournament was a good tournament for me. The weather conditions really dictated how I fished. We had several days that were bright and sunny with little wind. On those days I finessed fished with worms and a jig and fished real slow. When the wind picked up, I would throw a crankbait and a jerkbait, that's when its fishing was at its best."
"Thiswas one of the tournaments where my NITRO® really came in handy. With the changing conditions and needing a lot of tackle, my NITRO has plenty of storage to carry most anything I need and to keep it all organized. I know this is a big factor for me fishing well and making the Classic again this year."
JeffReynolds, one of the "Young Guns" on the tour finished right behind Kevin in 5th place. "Going into the last tournament of the year I was 39th in the points and needed a top twenty finish to qualify for the Classic and the E50's."
"Ispent most of the tournament, fishing pea gravel points with a real light jig head with a watermelon candy finesse worm fished real slow."
"I'mlooking forward to fishing the E50's and Classic. Being on the NITRO® Fishing Team gives me the confidence to do well. I know NITRO is behind me like they stand behind their boats."
19-year Bassmaster veteran and local favorite, Stacey King finished a solid 9th to end the season. "I had a good tournament. You always want to do well on your home lake. It was the kind of finish I needed to help me qualify for the E50's and puts me in a position to make the Classic."
"Ireally enjoyed fishing the beautiful weather we had here this last week, but my 929 NITRO® has been a great fishing machine in the other tournaments where the weather has been terrible."
"Whenthe wind blew a little bit this week, I would spend most of my fishing time throwing a jerkbait. When it would settle down, I would use a BASS PRO SHOPS® XPS Skirted Twin Tail Grub. A guy had to have a few different techniques this week, because when it got real still, they really got hard to catch."
NITROFishing Team E50 qualifiers are Rick Clunn, Kevin VanDam, David Wharton, Edwin Evers, Stacey King, and Jeff Reynolds.
GoodLuck to all of the NITRO® Fishing Team in the E50's.
