New Fiberglass Boats for '05: NITRO®
The
189 Sport has amenities to accomodate either pleasure boating or fishing. The 19-foot, 5-inch rig with a 95-inch beam replaces the NITRO® 185 and 188, combining the fish/ski features of the 185 on the 188's hull. It features a removable 12-volt, 46-pound-thrust bow mount trolling motor, aft deck rod/ski storage, divided aeratedl ivewell with pump-out, nonskid swim platforms, top boarding ladder, ski tow pylon, AM/FM CD stereo and seating for five. When packaged with the maximum 150-hp outboard (Merc 150 XR6), the boat sells for around $21,000.
Inchanges to other NITRO®s, all packaged MotorGuide® trolling motors have been restyled with higher rated motors; the 901 and 929 models have all-new interiors; the NX 882 has a new steering wheel and more legroom and the 898 will have a livewell pump-out system. Also, Mercury®'s new Verado™ can be purchased on the 929 and 911 boats.
